LA Opera, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
Following its hugely successful run at London’s Royal Festival Hall in the summer of 2019, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA was part of LA Opera’s 2019 Autumn season with sell-out 7 performances.
The sensational London company, which included the opera superstar RENÉE FLEMING, Disney sensation DOVE CAMERON, ROB HOUCHEN (Les Misérables), MARIE McLAUGHLIN (Royal Opera House), LIAM TAMNE (Wicked) and CELINDE SCHOENMAKER (The Phantom of the Opera) reprised their roles and were joined by BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL (Kiss me Kate) as Signor Naccarelli.
Directed by multiple Olivier Award-winner Daniel Evans, this lavish production with a full staging and gorgeous period costumes was accompanied by LA Opera’s 40-piece orchestra at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles.
